
Next Monday 27th April at 11pm, the 5 humanitarian pilots will depart from Lisbon to Johannesburg on TAP A340-300 aircraft. The group will be composed by Carlos Fernandes, Pedro Venancio, Eduardo Maya, Pedro Gaivão and Eduardo Nunes.
During the next 3 days they will be in Johannesburg Brakpan-Benoni airfield at Sky Africa facilities, performing the written south african airlaw exam and the check rides with south african Civil Aviation Authority examiners in order to achieve the south african pilot validation to allow them to fly south african registered aircrafts.
On Friday 1st May, the pilots will take the 4 Sky Africa aircrafts to Maputo, Mozambique via Mpumalanga Kruger International airport in South Africa to clear customs.
