TAP PORTUGAL / MOZAMBIQUE AIRLINES LAM SUPPORT TAA09




Today, TAP PORTUGAL and LAM - MOZAMBIQUE AIRLINES confirmed the total support to the humanitarian expedition. This support will be based on free transportation of several number of tonnes of medicines on TAP PORTUGAL's A340-300 from Lisbon to Maputo and on free air travel tickets for the TAA09 team members, who don't belong to TAP PORTUGAL work force.
The TAA09 organization would like to thanks to the administration council of TAP PORTUGAL and LAM for this valuable aid, which without it the humanitarian expedition would not be possible...

MVUU LODGE IN ZAMBIA WITH TAA09


The MVUU LODGE in the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia just confirmed the support to the humanitarian expedition. The team will be lodged there for one night on their way to the north of Mozambique.

The area where this lodge is located is well known by the huge number of hippos.

The TAA09 team would like to thanks the MVUU LODGE managers for the support to the humanitarian expedition, which is very important in this side of the african continent.

CHECK IN FOR SIC TELEVISION


SIC Television, one of the biggest portuguese television channels, confirmed the support and exclusevely report for the TAA09. The reporter/journalist Cândida Pinto with a cameraman, will join the humanitarian expeditioners during the 15 days TAA09 duration. During the TAA09, the SIC team will get images in order to produce several programs related not only about the humanitarian expedition, but also about the medicines supply in the remote areas in the bush.

With SIC coverage of the event, a great visibility of the TAA09 will be achieved, not only in Portugal but also in Europe through SIC International.

THE NEWSPAPER " EXPRESSO " SUPPORTS TAA09


In the beginning of this week, the TAA09 team received the confirmation of the support from newspaper "EXPRESSO", the most complete and readable newspaper in Portugal. The newspaper will report all the humanitarian expedition developments and the journalists will publish articles with photos during the expedition, such as a trip diary....
On the magazine, which is sold with the newspaper, more photos and articles are about to come. The organization of the TRANS AFRICAN AIR09 - HUMANITARIAN EXPEDITION would like to thanks EXPRESSO for the support and interest, which comply with the goals the the organizers set for TAA09.

TAA09 ON SIC TELIVISION JORNAL DA NOITE AT 8PM


Last Sunday 1st February on news at 8 " Jornal Da Noite " and hourly on last Monday 2nd on SIC Noticias ( news exclusive broadcast channel of SIC ), a footage report from journalist Ana Paula Almeida about Trans African Air 09, showed up. Please, check the link below to see it:




During the 3.30min. report, the journalist conducted an interview to the pilot Pedro Venancio and to the doctor Carlos Cyrne, where they explained the humanitarian expedition purposes, routing and specifications. During the interview, you can check images from the humanitarian expedition of 2007 in Mozambique ( VAM07 ).
